I started Nurture Neuro because I wanted to practice medicine differently. Not visits squeezed into fifteen minutes. Real time. Real conversations. A care plan that actually fits your child.
My patients are children whose families have often been told everything looks "normal," but who can see their child is still struggling. My job is to take that seriously and figure out what's actually driving it, across sleep, behavior, development, and neurology. Then we build a plan that treats the whole child.
I trained in pediatrics and pediatric neurology at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and have additional training in functional medicine. I use both, and I'll always tell you which one I'm reaching for and why.

Before you book
We don't have a diagnosis yet. Can you evaluate my child?
Yes. I evaluate children for ADHD and autism, and the call is where we talk through whether an evaluation makes sense for your child. Sometimes the answer is a diagnosis. Sometimes it's that development is on track and something else, like sleep or sensory load, is making things hard. I'll tell you either way. If your child needs support at school, a medical evaluation can inform a 504 plan or an IEP, though the school makes its own eligibility decision.
My child already has a diagnosis. Is this call still for us?
Yes. Many of the families I work with already have a diagnosis and a plan that isn't optimized. Maybe a medication helps, but the side effects on sleep, appetite, or mood make you wonder if it's worth it. Maybe there's more than one thing going on at once. Or there are questions nobody has had time to answer. A second set of eyes is a lot of what I do.
Do you take insurance?
Nurture Neuro is out-of-network with all insurance carriers, and I know that isn't feasible for every family. Visits are cash-pay, and you get a detailed superbill after each visit to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. Most families budget $1,500 to $2,500 for their child's first year of care, including the first visit and follow-ups. Fees for each visit type are listed on my Services page, and on the call I'll give you an estimate specific to your child. The discovery call itself is free.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book the call directly, and the first visit after it if we decide to work together.
Will you work with my child's therapists and school?
Yes. With your permission, I read your child's therapy and school evaluations and coordinate with their team.
Is your approach evidence-based?
Yes. My foundation is conventional pediatric neurology, and that's how I practice. I also have additional training in functional medicine. I use it where the evidence supports it, and I'll tell you plainly where it doesn't. Longer visits are what make it possible to look at sleep, attention, behavior, and development together instead of one at a time.
